Introduction to Balinese Dance with Lydia Martin

Come learn the fundamentals of Balinese dance. This class will include both female and male styles of dance. One difference is that the female style often has a set choreography while the male style acts as the conductor for the music and has more variation. Join us as we explore this traditional dance language. This workshop is in collaboration with the dancers of the Chicago Balinese Gamelan.
