Guitar 3 Repertoire

Adult Group Class / Guitar Program

Enhance your knowledge of the guitar neck while examining tunes from a variety of styles - popular and traditional. As always, students are welcome to repeat a repertoire class as often as they chose. Songs change from session to session.

Students of Guitar 3 and Guitar 3 Repertoire achieve the following:

  • Major and minor bar chord shapes on strings E & A
  • The chromatic alphabet along strings E & A
  • A usable appreciation of I, IV, V in any key
  • Single note tab reading
  • Simple Travis style playing and reading
  • Extended mastery of slash chords and chord coloration
  • Memorization skills
  • The desire to keep playing
