This class is for folks who love playing songs from the "Tin Pan Alley" era of American songwriting (1890s-1950s) with other uke players in a fun, easy-going environment. We’ll be playing swing-style ukulele with songs from some of the greats: Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Irving Berlin, Dorothy Fields, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern and more. If you enjoy playing songs like “Tonight You Belong To Me”, you'll love this class! The focus will be on having fun while learning to play effectively with others. Suitable for anyone with Ukulele 3 or equivalent experience and for those new to this genre as well as seasoned regulars.
