This workshop will focus on writing and refining lyrics that are impactful and singable through free-writing, editing and listening to examples. Great song lyrics do many things at once and the biggest trick is to make them seem conversational and musical while revealing layers of meaning. We’ll talk about ways to get out of your own way, find your voice and edit out the unneeded words and syllables. No experience necessary other than the desire to write song lyrics
