A course on bringing out your heart into the music and developing artistry at any level. I have discovered that there are steps and techniques you can use towards bringing more emotion to your music. These work in many different styles, paired with particular things for particular songs. I'll also play some tunes for you and discuss the more interesting things that go into creating the music, from the variety of tone to the inspirations. I'm looking forward to working with you and taking your questions! Includes free optional follow-up class TBA.
An alumnus and former instructor at Old Town School, Muriel has learned from legendary musicians Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Christopher Parkening, and jammed with Jimmy Page among others. She hosts the famous Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night and founded the Music for Life Alliance charity. Muriel is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship.
