Join Old Town School of Folk Music teaching artists as they perform songs to honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year we will focus on the role of Black women in liberation struggles. We have chosen to center the music and performances around these themes:

Protest / Resistance
Family / Generations
Faith and Church
African Roots
Modern Black Arts

All ages are invited.

Whether you are able to attend this event or not we urge you to spend time during the day reflecting on Dr. King and his contribution to our country and the world. One of his many inspiring quotes reads “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’
