This class is a one-hour ancillary and potential feeder class to my Unsung Heroes ensemble, though it’s not necessary to take both. Here we’ll focus on getting away from basic chord-strumming, as well as the false dichotomy of rhythm/lead guitar, and getting INTO playing as part of a group—small, expressive shapes, easy fills, fitting riffs over chord progressions, weaving into other guitar players’ parts, and creating guitar parts around the chord progressions of rock and soul songs.
