Songwriting: Fundamentals

Songwriting is a rewarding form of expression. This class provides the novice with basic tools and creativity exercises to “get them going.” Basics of harmony, lyric writing, melody and song form are discussed in a fun, supportive setting. Knowledge of a chordal instrument (guitar, piano, banjo, uke, etc.) is helpful but not required.
