You don't need an audition to take the stage at Old Town School!
The Theater Program of the Old Town School of Folk Music offers classes in musical theater, improvisation, and acting. Individually, the Old Town School's current and former theater faculty holds artistic affiliations with nearly all of the major theater companies in Chicago, including Steppenwolf Theater Company, the Goodman Theater, Victory Gardens Theater, the Neo-Futurists, The House, and Lookingglass Theater Company.
As with all classes at Old Town School, there is no audition required to participate, and students are admitted on a first come/first served basis, without exception.
