Dobro, Guitar, Lap Steel
Steve has been playing guitar for over 20 years, in styles ranging from Big Band, Jazz to Power Trio Blues. He is equally adept at electric and acoustic guitar, and is well-versed in mutliple styles. Versatility is his forte; he is a flexible teacher and is well-attuned to the students specific needs.
Currently, Steve plays guitar with Lush Budgett, The Hoyle Brothers, Al Rose and the Transcendos, Space Rhino, and plays Dobro with the Whiskey Hollow Bluegrass Band. He is an in-demand sideman for a variety of Blues, Country, Bluegrass, and singer/songwriter acts.
Education: Bachelor in Music Composition, Northern Illinois University
