Peggy focuses on ensemble classes, emphasizing learning by ear and creating arrangements together, keeping fresh the history of the Old Town School of Folk Music and America's aural traditions, remembering to keep an ear to the greats of today. We work on creating original arrangements and the joy of making good sounds together.
Peggy began as a student at the OTSFM in the mid ‘90s, finding a place amidst music with friends and history that would come to be an integral part of her life. Ten years later she was hired to teach and has proudly carried on in the traditions and visions of the School. Peggy is a founding member of "The Pickin' Bubs," an acoustic trio, where she focuses on guitar, banjo, and songwriting.
