Nathan Kistler (they/he) is a classically trained baritone, a bard with a guitar, and an all around silly goose. Raised in choir, there is nothing that Nathan loves more than a large group of people singing and making music together, in any style, arrangement, or composition. Along with teaching, Nathan can be found with their band 'THEM queers,' a genre-bending folk-punk duo, performing original music, quirky covers, and, most importantly, giving a voice to queer identities and issues in Chicago at large. Some of Nathan's favorite musical influences and composers are G. F. Handel, William Bolcom, Tom Lehrer, Brandi Carlile, Lucy Dacus, and Noel McKay.

Education: Nathan holds degrees in voice from Central Michigan University and the University of Notre Dame.
