Kate Walsh is a music educator, administrator, and leader with a background in ethnomusicology and liberatory music practices, and is currently the School Partnerships Manager at Old Town School. Dedicated to youth empowerment and building community and social change through popular education and music, Kate was a founder and long-time board member of the Girls Rock Camp Alliance. Kate has also worked at Intonation Music, Merit School of Music, DePaul Community Music Division, and Girls Rock Camp, providing innovative and transformational music programming for hundreds of students. Kate plays saxophone, guitar, and tin whistle, and also DJs weddings and events.
