Wiggleworms
Julliana is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Belmont University in 2020 and has been a practicing MT-BC ever since! As a music therapist, Julliana holds the belief that music has the power to connect persons and connect with the whole person. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings such as early education, hospitals, psychiatric facilities, adult day programs, and nursing homes.
In class with kiddos, Julliana's favorite instrument to use is the guitar because it is easier to move and groove with! Julliana is also bilingual and often translates familiar songs into Spanish for use in groups! Her favorite song to use in groups in English, and also when translated into Spanish, is "I Know A Chicken'' by Laurie Berkner. Julliana hopes to use her experience as a Music Therapist to provide a safe space for Wiggleworms to connect with each other and with themselves supported by the exploration of musical experiences.
