The Wayco Andes experience is a captivating concert of music from the Andean regions of Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador as well as from Argentina and Mexico. You will hear pre columbian Incan instruments such as the caña (cane flute) and the Zampoñas (pan pipes) combined with instruments of the European diaspora including the classical guitar, charango (stringed instrument of the lute family) and the bombo (large bass drum originating from Argentina). Wayco Andes is a group of musicians led by Huguito Gutierrez who was born in Bolivia and raised in Argentina and has a musical career spanning several decades. Huguito has played in distinguished venues all over the world and has a discography of over a dozen recorded albums. Let their soul-stirring melodies of traditional instruments transport you to the heart of the Andes.
