La Escuelita Bombera de Corazón is a collective of Bomba practitioners committed to the preservation of Bomba - Puerto Rico's oldest surviving music and dance form created by the island's African descendants. La Escuelita Bombera De Corazón was founded by Ivelisse Díaz out of her commitment to Black and Indigenous art education and her first-hand experiences of Bomba's revolutionary power. She and her crew will deliver an exciting show introducing students to Bomba and have students dancing and singing with her on-stage mini workshop.
