Spacca Napoli will take you on a journey through the Italian folkloric musical heritage of a 100 years of repertoire that saw the traditional music of Naples and Sicily rising in what was called the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies (1816-1861).
The Neapolitan music of this period is the essence of the sounds of all the mediterranean countries that were dominating, trading or passing trough the south of Italy, leaving melodies found in Spanish, Arabic and Middle eastern music.
Voice, accordion, violin, mandolin, bass and serenading guitars will take you on a passionate romance under the light of the candles of timeless melodies.
