Chicago Youth Shakespeare (CYS) presents The Tempest, featuring young actors from the Chicago Youth Shakespeare Ensemble (CYSE), a program open to high school students across the Chicagoland area. Representing a variety of communities, ethnicities, cultures, and life experiences, CYSE students create a unique, artistic ensemble fueled by collaboration, innovation, and a diversity of approaches and ideas. Chicago Youth Shakespeare is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting teenagers with Shakespeare and with each other, and to providing a safe space for young artists of all backgrounds. Teacher study guides will be provided.
