The Global Dance Party series offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.
Carpacho y su Super Combo is a fun, high-energy group specializing in the tropical sounds of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Latin Jazz, and Cha Cha.
Carpacho y su Super Combo started in 1986 with the main idea of integrating the band with musicians from various countries. The objective was to demonstrate the typical sound of music of each Latin American country. The band is succeeding to this end currently with musicians from the United States, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and the leader, from Medellin Colombia.
