Say hello to the cello for the first time. In this class you will be introduced to the instrument, the basics of tuning, making sound and how to hold the bow. You will also be introduced to note reading and playing by ear. If you have played cello before and know the basics, you may want to start in Cello 1.

Your teacher will tune your cello at the beginning of class, which will help you learn how to tune your instrument yourself.
