FREE fun music and dance activities for all ages
Start the new year off right with three days of music and dance at Old Town School's Lincoln Square campus! Bring an instrument and jam with musicians of all different levels. Learn about classes and consult with our experts on the best path for your 2024 musical adventures. Get your gear tuned up for the new year, stick around for special performances, and even bring the little ones along for tons of Wiggleworms fun. All are welcome! Doors open at 1pm daily.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3
West Building - 4544 N Lincoln Ave 1-4 pm - Welcome, Info, and Class Signups Room 101 1pm & 3pm - Wiggleworms FAQ and Family Hang- Meet teaching artists and other families from past, present, and future Wiggleworms classes. Find out more about what makes these parent/child music making classes unique, learn about new developments in the program, and get help finding the right class for your family. 2pm - Wiggleworms Jam- Make music as a family! Start your little one on their musical journey as we sing, dance, and explore different instruments fit for tiny hands. Room 102 2pm - Kids Dance Jam - Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to groove! Kids of all ages are welcome to come join the fun and try out some new dance moves. Room B4 1pm & 3pm - Kids Music FAQ and Family Hang - Meet Old Town School teaching artists, program managers, and family volunteers. Learn about upcoming classes and opportunities to get involved, find the right class for your kiddo, and chat about any questions you have! 2pm - Kids & Family Jam - Join in on a group family jam session for all levels, led by Old Town School teaching artists. Chord charts will be provided. Bring your own instrument, or just come and sing along! Mabie Gallery 1 & 3pm - Adult Music FAQ and Hang - Find your music community! Chat with teachers and students about 2024 class offerings for all different kinds of instruments, vocal techniques, and dance styles. 2pm - Adult Jam - Get a taste of our daily "Second Half" jams, led by Old Town School teaching artists and community members.
