Fiddle tunes don’t always have to be played on the fiddle! Join Patrik Ahlberg, originally from Sweden, for this special workshop exploring traditional Swedish fiddle tunes on the guitar. Patrick will teach a few tunes which will use an open guitar tuning (DADGAD). Techniques such as flatpicking, legato, hammer-on’s and pull-off’s, string bending and mimicking fiddle ornaments will be explored to bring a more lyrical and song-like approach to these tunes.
