This class emphasizes American popular music of the 1920s and 1930s (”Side by Side,” “Sunny Side of the Street,” etc.) but also includes songs from the folk revival (”This Land is Your Land”) and later (Mark Dvorak’s “Every Step of the Way”). We plan programs, rehearse, and when possible perform at gigs outside the School.
