Monalisa & Rodrigo are a duo of Panamanian singer-songwriters who promote a message of love, diversity, and inclusion. Their original songs feature unique, traditional Panamanian instruments applied in a modern song context. The duo has won the prestigious Ibermúsicas Popular Song Award twice (for "La Bomba" in 2021 and "Agua Hirviendo" in 2018). In 2020 they were among the few artists selected to showcase at Rueda de Negocios in Circulart, an important international music congress based in Medellín, Colombia. That year the duo also performed at the National Theater of Panama in a show with national television broadcast at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture.

Their song "Todo lo que Quiero" was one of the finalists in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest and represented Panama at the International Song Festival in Punta del Este, Uruguay in 2019.
