Afro-Contemporary Dance™️ with Red Clay Dance Theatre

Afro-Contemporary Dance™️ class, taught by Vershawn Sanders-Ward, Founder and Artistic Director of Red Clay Dance Company. This class is an Afro-Diaspora movement practice that fuses Africanist movement vocabulary, Chicago House and modern dance forms. The classes focuses on building core strength, endurance, suppleness in the spine and emancipation of the pelvis. If you love Afro-House music you will enjoy this class!

Dance Basics for Couples with Louie Stallone

*one registration covers one couple (two people)
Swing and sway to the blues, rockabilly, and the sounds of the big bands. Learn to be comfortable with fundamental moves on the dance floor. In this two-hour workshop, Louie will cover the one-step, the fox-trot, and the six-count swing. Emphasis will also be given to the basics of coupling, floorwork, and turns.
