This workshop will be taught by 3 to 4 singers from Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares. During the workshop each singer will present a song from a different Bulgarian folklore region. Singers will present and teach the vocal technique for that specific song and region including the vocal ornamentation. They will share background information about the song, its lyrics, etc. The plan is to submit the score for the song and, if needed, an mp3 file so participants can later learn the song on their own. At the end of the workshop we will have a Q&A session.
