Spotlight: Martinique
Join master percussionist Boris Reine-Adelaide for a unique workshop that will explore Martinican folklore. Boris will demonstrate and share various dimensions of Bélé culture, including drumming and dance. The workshop will cover drumming technique and how to adapt the rhythmic syntax and vocabulary of Bélé to other percussion instruments and collaborative musical scenarios.
