The Old Town School is honored to offer this unique, online workshop experience with world-class songwriter, Chris Difford. Well known for his remarkable work in the band Squeeze, and subsequently with Difford & Tilbrook, Chris has written songs with the likes of Elvis Costello, Jools Holland, and many others. He currently hosts week-long songwriting retreats and will give participants a taste of one during this online workshop.
Difford himself offers this description of what to expect in the workshop: “Songwriting has never been so easy. Here in lockdown, we have time on our hands, and our imaginations are filled with fresh ideas to share with the world. All levels of songwriting skills will be addressed, so please don’t be shy to come on board. I have been running these workshops for over 26 years, and everyone has a song within them. It’s easy to unlock that genius if you let yourself go.”
