Often when we think of old time guitar we think of backing up fiddle tunes but in this workshop we’ll look at various approaches to backing up vocals geared toward solo performance. From bass run driven back up, to some more advanced “uptown” chord voicings you will learn some useful approaches to playing solo. Expand your repertoire through some unique songs in the old time catalogue from the 1930s including Jimmie Rodgers, Riley Puckett, and a few lesser known artists.
