We'll analyze the chords, melodies, lyrics and arrangements to discover what makes a great song "great" and discover the methods and historic context behind these important compositions. Songs will include ‘God Only Knows’ (The Beach Boys), "Strawberry Fields Forever" (The Beatles), "Do You Realize" (The Flaming Lips), "Waterloo Sunset" (The Kinks), "Life On Mars" (David Bowie), and more. No previous songwriting experience is necessary.
