In this introductory course to breaking out of the mold that is barre chords and open first position chords, Kyle will guide you through ways to discover new chord voicings to enhance songwriting and rhythm guitar playing. The chords covered are "modified" open string chords, "modified" barre chords, drop 2 chords and drop 3 chords. He will also briefly share some thoughts on how to arrange these chords in ways that make sense.Students will leave with a repertoire of pop, rock, R&B and folk songs that utilize expanded chords voicing and handouts. Perfect for guitar players looking to expand their knowledge and sounds on the guitar.
