Study with Jon Shain, of Durham, NC, this year's International Blues Challenge winner in the solo/duo category. Jon will share techniques for taking breaks in a songs, both in standard tunings and in slide tunings. Ideas covered will include: keeping the bass going while playing higher up the neck, riffs based off of small chord forms, and breaking away from the rhythm part.
