Ready to join the band? This class will get you going by learning the fundamental skills of playing in an ensemble. Create supportive band arrangements that enhance songs without cluttering them. Learn how to play different grooves with a rhythm section, how to use riffs and fills effectively, arrange parts between multiple guitars and keyboards, and sing simple background vocals.
Highly recommended if you've never taken an ensemble class, or a refresher for students with some ensemble experience. Students will play from a repertoire of rock & pop classics to help hone their ensemble skills. Open to guitars bass, drums, percussion, keyboards, horns, and vocals.
