Our good friend Aristeed makes drums in Africa and imports them to the states, where we hand select our djembes. Our top djembes are from Mali and Cote DÕIvoire and have great tone! We sometimes get top end models from Ghana. All drums are hand carved from a single piece of wood and fitted with a top quality goat skin. For the professional and the learned student.

LP/Latin Percussion

LP is probably the biggest percussion manufacturer in the world. This is where we select our congas, bongos, cajons, and a great variety of hand percussion.

Sageman

Yes, there is a sageman. Our most popular djembes, Sageman makes them in many sizes. They are lathe turned in Indonesia and are quite affordable and have good tone. Excellent student djembes. Sageman also sells us some fine hand percussion.
