Ensemble classes at Sibelius

This is the ensemble class taught by Olli Varis. These students are also in their second year. They were making new arrangements of traditional tunes. It was great to listen to them! I shared song from Michoacan called “Jucheti Consuelito”, and Bau taught us “Lay Down Little Doggies.”

    Wow! You guys are super brave to go through the wilds of England in search of music!…I mean, most people would be afraid, no, petrified to venture into England AND Finland for any amount of time. Your courage is much appreciated and lauded back home…Both of these nations also serve up some of the most delicious and exotic of foods…be careful everybody, and have a safe trip home
