Old-Time Ensemble (Wed) – weeks 1&2

Week 1 was a tune in D from Lotus Dickey. He learned it from Albert & Effie Daugherty when he was in high school in Paoli, Indiana back in about 1931. It was also out on record then, as a song by the Pickard Family.

Bye-Bye, My Honey (I’m Gone) – slow

Bye-Bye at full speed

Week 2 was another tune in D. This one was made up circa 1980 by a friend of ours, Peter Lippincott. He’s a musician and square dance caller from St. Louis, now living in Arkansas.
