Workshops
Workshops at the Old Town School are a terrific way to study something new. Our faculty and special visitors showcase one-time-only specialties, trials of new class ideas, and extensions of our classes. Most of these meet only once or twice and are priced low, and like our classes, are usually hands-on. So get in where we can hear you!

Cancellation Policy: You must call to cancel 24 hours before the start time of your workshop, in order to receive a full refund for the class. No refunds or partial credits will be given after the 24 hour period before your first class has passed.

Come make a noise and get better acquainted with your voice in a workshop taught by one of the most acclaimed singing instructors, whose students have ranged from inner-city kindergarteners to Nicole Kidman and Jude Law in the film "Cold Mountain." The class will move from voice production and overtone singing to solo unaccompanied singing and shape-note harmony. Open to all levels of experience and musical ability. If you never sang before, there's no better time to start. If you sing all the time, you'll come away with a better understanding of your voice and a head full of joyful sound.
