for 6-12 months, 12-24 months and 2 year olds
The Old Town School's unique Wiggleworms music program welcomes babies and toddlers to the world of music. In each Wiggleworms® session, children sing, play finger games, do circle dances, and play rhythm instruments especially designed for little hands. Each Wiggleworms instructor leads the class with traditional and original children's songs, while accompanying the class on acoustic guitar. All classes are limited to 12 children and their parent or caregiver. Classes are designed for three different age groups. Activities will vary as your child grows. All Wiggleworms classes are 45 minutes long.Read about the class in Chicago Parent!

Wiggleworms in Spanish
Wiggleworms in French
ages 1 to 4 years
From an early age, a child's mind is open and receptive to music and language. By singing children's songs in different languages your child will learn the sounds of a second language while registering speech patterns for bilingual development. Classes are bilingual, taught half in English and half in a second language. Our French classes are led with autoharp; Spanish classes are led with guitar.

Sibling Wiggleworms
ages 6 months to 4 years
Designed for families with two children, parents can now bring both siblings to Wiggleworms in this special class for mixed ages. Our instructors teach songs, fingerplays and music activities appropriate for both siblings. Classes are limited to 12 children and their parent or caregiver.

Wigglegrads
ages 3 and 4 years
In this follow-up to Wiggleworms, your child will sing and dance along with you and are introduced to stringed and rhythm instruments, such as rhythm sticks, triangles, hand drums, ukuleles and more! Your child will learn basic music concepts including dynamics and rhythm, while singing some of their favorite songs from Wiggleworms, along with new songs! This class is a great way to spend some musical time with your child. No Wiggleworms experience necessary!

Lullabies
ages birth to 5 months
Start your child's musical journey on the right track with the Old Town School's lullabies class! IN this class, parents and caregivers sing, gently move with their babies and leave each class with an endless amount of songs to share with your infant all day... and all night! Bring a blanket.
$100 for 8 weeks
Important Information
- Classes are limited to 12 children for safety and comfort.
- Once per session, siblings or friends of the appropriate age group may visit classes that are not at capacity. Advance reservations are required. You are welcome to bring babies under six months to an older sibling's class at no extra cost.
- 4 make ups per 16 week session are allowed and must be used in the current session only, 7 days a week. (2 make ups for 8 week sessions). Call 24 hours in advance to schedule a make-up.
- Students enrolled in 6 to 12 months old Wiggleworms must be six months old by the start of the class. Please purchase the required instrument at the Little Strummer or Different Strummer store ($5). For branch locations, your teacher will have your instruments the first day of class.
