- About Old Town School Summer Camp
- Summer Camp at the Old Town School is an enriching, exciting, and educational way for your child to experience the summer in Chicago. Both sessions of the program are specifically crafted for 6-10 year olds, and include music education, visual arts, theater, dance, movement, social studies, science, history, outdoor play and more. The summer camp environment is one in which children will learn to think independently, work cooperatively, and discover their own creativity. We encourage the campers to work both individually and in groups, thereby learning to appreciate other's skills as well as their own.
Our campers are surrounded by a diverse and extremely talented staff of teachers and counselors who encourage campers to learn in a variety of ways. We offer a program rich in teaching styles, and we strive to connect personally with all of the children in the program.
At the Old Town School Summer Camp, children feel safe to be themselves as they become avid, active learners in our camp's community-oriented and family-oriented atmosphere. It is our hope that, through our program, your child will learn how to bring creativity, joy, and artistic energy into everything they do -- and it is our hope that it is this strength that they will use to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others, both now and in the future.
