Join Afro-Venezuelan percussion and dance ensemble, La Parranda El Clavo, for this special workshop before their evening performance with Betsayda Machando. Participants will learn dances, rhythms, and stories that are integral to the Afro-Venezuelan tradition. Dances include the Quichimba, Culoepuya, and Tambor San Millán! Most dances are performed in couples and illustrated by two expert dancers. Join us for a fantastic family and community experience!
