New York’s Greenwich Village in the 1950s and ’60s was a hotbed of intense folk music creativity led by young and talented singer/songwriters like Tom Paxton, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Phil Ochs, Fred Neil, Tim Hardin, Dave Van Ronk, and many more.
This class will focus on the songs and singers of the era, intermixed with first-hand storytelling by Ed Holstein. The guitar work will be musical, but not difficult. If you love songs and you’re comfortable switching among the basic collection of chords, you’re qualified!
