Step beyond the ordinary into the life of the cabaret! Cabaret singing dates from the smoky European cafes of the ‘20s to the modern American jazz clubs. Explore singing theatrical and intimate classics from artists as wide ranging as Edith Piaf, Liza Minelli, Michael Feinstein, Mel Torme, Nat King Cole, and more. This is not a class in vocal technique, rather an opportunity to explore your own style and delivery. Class time will be spent warming up, working on several group songs as well as singing solos with gesture, stance, and visual focus.
