For all dulcimer enthusiasts - hammered and mountain - have a great time expanding your musical knowledge and experiencing the joy of making music with others in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. In a typical class, you'll learn a new song, practice playing together, and work on the overall group sound. Emphasis will be given to the essential ensemble skills including lead, melodic variations, chords, rhythmic backup, creating harmonies, dynamics and listening to the total sound. Styles of music will range from traditional old time, New England country dance tunes, Celtic songs and much more.
