Leo Fender changed popular music forever when he invented the electric Precision bass. He went on to create the telecaster and the stratocaster, and the rest is history. The biggest and most popular brand of electric guitars and basses in the world. We carry Fenders made in Mexico and Japan.
Squier
This is Fender's import line from China. They make them themselves, and Squier has grown to be a very strong budget line on its own.
Eastman
Near Bejing there is an old violin and cello factory where they have been hand carving instruments for decades. Some time ago they turned their attention to hand carved archtop guitars and mandolins, and the results are fantastic. These instruments are excellent across the board, and because of exchange rates the prices are more than reasonable. At the same time, Eastman is able to pay their artisans an excellent wage. These are pro grade instruments in every sense of the word.

Höfner
Were it not for the Beatles, Höfner would be known mostly for orchestral string instruments. But Paul McCartney played the viola bass, and the rest is history. Höfner also has several models of top grade jazz guitars in acoustic and semi hollow versions. The Jazzica is a staff favorite.
